you are right Ammar. Most of us are puppets in the hands of vested interests. We allow people to use us. This is dragging too long. Are you guys worried? Your columnists sound worried.

Not exactly tobe very honest. This school of thought plays the same role in Pakistan as some Extremist Hindu parties in India. Plus they dont have their roots in the masses and besides this whole issue is created just to distract us from the main issue which is the Presidential Reference in the supreme court.

Extremists are harmful for everybody- faith or religion doesn’t make a difference. MQM is playing a positive role in this?

” We make the rules…….So, only we can break it”

These girlz ( from Jammia Hafsa and guyz from Jammia Faridia) are actually brainwashed. They think that what there stupid extremist Mulla are teaching, thats only the Islam is. They dont even think that taking law in your hand is not allowed in Islam. They are those who said “Tasveer na kinchwaoo…..Gunnah Hai” and then when you visit Peshawar, you will find lots and lots of T-shirts having Osama’s (the killer) photo on them. The basic problem is that they are giving wrong perception about Islam to others. Pakistan is in extreme danger just bcoz of the Extemist Mullas.

Now comming on the backside of the photo, yeah the real issue on which these girls having Dandas in their hands. The CD shops selling CDs and DVDs of any kind of video, prostitutes living free and etc. The government should have to take action on these kind of issues before someone other than the authority comes and start abusing the law.

    @ pr3rna

I dunno how much you have read or heard abt MQM but the party holds its own ideology when it comes to issues asuch as this and if there is somethgn that is holding religious extremists elements away from the Karachi city its MQM.

Nowadays in Pakistan, there are many commercial TV channels working. If you watch TV regularly than u must have noticed the last commercial of U-Fone. Did you notice something, they wre giving wroong perception about the Pakistani culture. Also when we walk around normally we see many girls in such dresses that we feel embaracement (atleast i ffeel it) .

We need to think again about the meaning of extremism coz if someone is extremist in religion than we are also extremist in our daily routine life(examples are stupid fashionable dresses, adult stuffs etc)

    Now what do u think????

I totally agree Hassan and if you have read my latest post. I have highlighted the same issue that we are moving towards a polarized Pakistan. Pseudo Westernization is no better thn Talibanization. We sholud be modern, not western.
