Funny. I saw some other Fifty/Fifty videos on You Tube. They are quite funny. Bushra Ansari also used to do some good spoofs on PTV.

Moin Akhter is a complete actor but I was talking abt the cast of 50/50 here.

That was the beginning of soaps in India. In comedy there was one by Satish shah, Shafi Inamdar and Farida Jalal called ‘Yeh Jo Heh Jindagi’. Actors were Theatre artists and it was very good. There was one based on partition which was very popular called ‘Buniyad’. It was made by Sippy’s of Sholay fame-very well written and made. Then there was one based on corporate rivalry called ‘Khandan’ again a very good attempt. Nothing to beat Dhoop KiInare , Ankahee and Tanhaiyan by PTV. All womem from age 9-90 fell in love with Dr Ahmar and Dr Joya Ali Khan of Dhoop Kinare. Infact I didn’t know the meaning of Joya otherwise I wanted to name my daughter’ Joya’.

Yeah i agree to ammar about there were more than ulta sedha of their time…But man if u look ulta seedha a little more closely…its something ahead of its time…Yeah the combination of anwar maqsood and shoiab mansoor thats obviously not there….For comedy in India..i think there was this show in the 90’s Hum sab aik hain….its was quite message oriented..
