United we stand…

pic_blast5.jpg

There are things in life that really puzzles me, like

1) Why after so much humiliation and disgrace the mullahs are still supporting Ghazi Abdul Aziz and want him back?

2) Why talent less bastards like Sahir Lodhi are on the tele and radio all the time?

3) How come a nincompoop like Arbab Raheem is our chief minister?

But above all;

What the fuck is going on in my country?

There is not a single day when I switch on to the tele and I don’t see a burned dead body. There are two professionals that are really in demand these days. The guys who makes bomb for a living and guys who blow themselves in public.( How convenient. Eh?) Extremism is every where in this world. There are skin heads in England who likes to beat a crap out of the darkies (Pakistanis and Indians). There are Upper class Hindu teachers in India who like to purify or urinify (to be exact) their students (Dilits by cast) so that they can get better grades. Mentally challenged teenagers shoot off’s their class fellows and teachers (Virginia tech)

But why are we labeled as Moderates, Semi Moderates, Extremists, Budd naked extremists. What else do you expect? When a guy with an AK-47 in his hand and a military jacket on his body will appear on the tele and will announce:

‘Hey fellas!! Remember the twin towers you use to have in New York I blew that off. And yes I will continue doing these terrorists activities to humiliate my peaceful religion. So screw you guys!! I’m going to Vegas.’- OSAMA

So are we waiting for a miracle here? Hmmm let see …. No, this is not a Hindi movie where Sharukh Khan will get the girl in the end and wll live happily ever after. We all need to get real, we all have to work are lazy ass off to bring the country out of the crises. How about being united for a start? Like we are in the cricket matches. ( that rules me out as I am always betting on the other team 😛 )

It is indeed very frustating when your country goes through such a phase. I remember a few years back when I used to open the newspaper I used to wish for some good news and there won’t be even one good news. Now ofcourse it is a mixed bag. Don’t loose heart this is a small period in the history of a country.

Like someone said on a forum somewhere

“Women arent allowed to lead prayers in Islam, what is the rule about cross dressers”

Apart from everything else one must not forget that when there are riots there are quite a few people in there just for the fun of it. Im sure everyone agrees with me here cause I have seen people “protesting’ about different things and if you look closely quite a lot of them are having a ball out of it.

So not only is a riot just a simple riot its a fucking circus!

P.S. I have no idea about the context of my comment, its mainly random. . .

Ammar, it is strange but I have been allowed inside the mosque not once but twice. The only condition was that all people entering the mosques should have their knees covered. This condition was applied to men and women both. Infact my daughter was wearing a skirt so she had to wrap a skarf to cover her knees. May be in South Asia women are not allowed. I am sure you know better about your religion.
I am Hindu and my daughter believes in Christ. I have always believed that people should be free to decide about their beliefs. I am against rituals because for me religion is in your heart and is between you and God. NO man made rituals can come between you and God. Fanatism of any kind puts me of and I believe that every religion has something good in it.

In the region where people arent even allowed to marry outside their cast or culture, allowing ur daughter to practice a whole different religion i must say is very brave. I am as well very thankful to my parents who taught me tobe tolerant when it comes to beliefs.

Ahh … Killing in the name of . . .

Does anyone see the irony here?

Thanks GOD that someone believe in the freedom of choosing the religion also. It is in Hadith (Allah kami beshi maaf karae) Parents make their children Muslim, Christian, etc.

I personally feel that a person(when grown up) should have been allowed to study the religions so that he/she can chose the right path, and believe me the right path is always comes by research, as someone(i think Allama Iqbal) said “Aur dhoondae waloon ko hum Dunya bhi naye dete hayen” and also somewhere in Quran (Allah kami beshi maaf karae) it is mention that Jo koi bhi ilm(knowledge) talash main nikalta hai hum us k liyae kamiyabiyon k rastae khol dete hayen.

As far as the question that “May be in South Asia women are not allowed to enter in Mosques”, this only happens in Pakistan (may be in Bangladesh also or just few countries) and this is the main reason which I think Shoaib Mansoor made “Khuda K Liyae”

(Ammar plz translate the urdu words, I just read pr3rna’s post n replied)

I dont think women are prohibited from entering masjid (mosque)….they should even come and pray in ladies portion only…..in pakistan you see an entirely different set of religious beliefs though..
