Its the time for now or never in Pakistan. Media and Judiciary got its power but then the coward general impose the emergency . Its the time to fight together against the few ppl who took control of the country. They are not been able to control the situation in Sawat yet. Just bcoz of Musharaf Pakistan is loosing her worth in any means.
I pray that the civil revolution in Pakistan leads to establishment of permanent peace with India.
So, now the question is:
Will Busharraf be blown from the scene like Zia? OR
Is it going to be worse???

I hate to say this but I completely disagree with ya on this one,
media wont show any bomb blasts if their wont be any bomb blasts to show. if u blame the media for over sensetionalizing the issues then its not medias fault that the GOVT. made a mess out of the country. I knw they need to improve in countless dept. but blaming media for the attrocities comitted by the present GOVT. is quite unfair.

pakistani media shuld support pakistan have u evr seen indian media or ny country’s media is showing the dark side of country or defaming its country,only shameless citizen of pakistan can do dis cx thy have no moral values if sonethind bad is happening in country it does mean that media shd over sensationalize n show it jus because thy r against the govt i dnt agree wid u . if smthg bad happens in your will hide that or over exgerrate that matter n tell ur enemies so that thy can make fun of that excatly wat happen with da media n im gald for wat happen media is payin for the due advantage given to rm by the media

what actually do u mean by support ?? do we need to support them whenever they do wrong??? n if u r talking abt India then there is much difference b/w the media of two countries. India media shows extra ordinary support (or may be some another word would be better here) for their country and if someone outside do something good then they do not or by some hesitation shows it. on the contrary, Pakistani media mostly shows whats IN the country and nothing more than that. now its our bad luck that the only thing we have to show is BUNCH of POLITICS.

Zia’s death was an eye-opener for the people of understanding BUT now that we’ve seen worse then Zia, I bet the Anjaam would be worst too. Unless he repents. But the people who sacrificed their lives in this regime during “certain” operations, I don’t think their sacrifices would rot in vain…

what i mean by support is not over exggerate the happening of the country have you ever notice that the media has never exgerrated the progress of pakistan the GDP of pakistan has incresed significanlty over the past decade but media never shows that media only criticize the the govt. and the critisim is only cux media is against the govt . media shd be grateful for the freedom thy enjoyed fot thr past 5-6 yrs but now wen media was unleashing and and taking undua advantage of that freedom than the govt took action. any bad happening in the country is not due to the govt. govt did many gd deeds like masjid e hafsa ,incresed in exports , reduces in tarrifs, women empowerment, economic development, capital restructuring,etc wen all these things were happeing in pakistan than media never over sentationalized those development its just ppl against the govt can only criticize the govt without even realisng that media is giving a bad image to the country. bomb blast happen in every part of the world but those country never over sentationalized it its jus the ill mentality of the pakistanis thy can never develop as a nation jus becux thy dnt have a unified thought thy can just pull legs of govt throug which thy get small hapiness with this speed paksiatn can nver become the super power of south east asia. just becx this dis media is defaming the country but the need of time is to be unified and think in the national interest of the country not of a particualr govt, organization or media.

Well talking abt GDP, i think u dont know the method of GDP they have. If ur salary is 50K/year and mine 1K/year and they average it. 45% ppl in Pak lives under poverty line (means they are not able to earn even 60 PKR/day), so how is it possible that our country’s GDP ever increase?? its a game of politics that our politicians doing. Whatever happens in Pakistan, the media shows it and its not their concern what is right and what is wrong. Talking abt news channels like Geo, ARYONE, AJJ, etc. what else they show except news of every kind. If u watch every program on these channels then u would realize that these channels allow both government and opposition parties to speak freely. Many changes occurs in constitution coz of their programs like Women Protection Bill, Hudood Ordinance etc.
Now government banned these channels not bcoz they are creating hype in the country but they can show the truth which obviously state own channel PTV won’t show.
country is below poverty line nothing new for a third world country GDP is not just calculated by averaging out the INCOME,rather GDP is a combination of products product in a fiscal yr, national income, exports miuns imports , govt consumption and expenditure so wen all these factors combine together thy show an increase in GDP which is commendable.u can also check the economic survey of pakistan n compare the data for the past yrs if u dnt believe me.as far media is concern m sorry2say media didnt projected the image of the country well. pakistan is emerged as a terrorist state thanks to the media libration. but dnt worry compliant channels like indus, cnbc, ajj and dawn news r on my cable once again:)

But one should support and help Pakistan not the Musharraf Govt. for me Pakistan and Musharrafs regime are two different things. Musharraf is just any other dictator who will face his end sooner then later inshallah. forget the media we should have our voices heard through different medias including blogging.

Democracy?! You mean where people are not educated enough to differentiate from good to bad, they’ll VOTE for the RIGHT PERSON. I highly doubt that.
Plus, in Pakistan “we have a personality cult” where people bow down low before certain personalities and unfortunately, whoever has been on the scene has only worked for their own pockets. I don’t see a solution in democracy.(but that doesn’t mean I want dictatorship, there has to be another way)
