“Amreeeca musalmano ki taqqat say darta hai jabhie unko larwana kii koshish karta hai (America is afraid of the power of Muslims so it make efforts to make them fight among themselves)”.

These are the words you hear from time to time from molvis and the fact is that they have successfully transferred this thought into some sections of society through their countless attempts. The questions definitely then arises Is America really afraid of Muslims? To answer it lets follow the reasoning which has given rise to this statement. According to molvis Muslims have long ruled the world and for reasons best known by them, they are the ones who can dethrone America from World’s only super power. What is that America is really afraid of, Muslim population, let get this correct by this fact that Christianity is the most popular religion of the world with most followers.

Then it could be Muslim Technical abilities or economy, well everyone knows the kind of state in which Muslim countries are in the world, I have to say that they possess the weakest representation on the world forum. Then again why and why America has a fear? Why not China that America should be more worried of, why not the again rising Russia.

Mr. A has a small shop in unknown locality which is the most successful shop in terms of business from 10 other shops in the same locality. Mr. A has constantly updated it to meet the demands of his customers but during the last few months it has faced stiff competition from Mr. C’s shop. Mr. C’s shop has made success by differentiating the products and that has make him a bitter rival of Mr. A. There is one Mr. M who everyone is the locality is feared off, he doesn’t have a shop of his own but if not happy he can disrupt everyone’s business with threats and attacks. Now logically everyone is afraid of M’s intentions but is this fear more too A than to loose its business to C through competition.

You get it right Muslims are only like a gangster at the corner of your street who may snatch your valuables but if once everyone decides to close his chapter, he will run away like anything. By terrorizing you may pose a threat but the threat of rivalry is always the biggest. The threat to loose your status, your earnings and your power can give you sleepless nights and that’s what America is going through these days. China has kicked America out on most of the international markets and this has affected America’s position at the top.

For long every super power in world has ruled with “Divide and rule” policy and that America too followed by igniting wars in Africa and in Muslim world, this has made the demands of weapons being produced by America high which has contributed more to its rule. For long it has used the Muslims as cannon fodder (in cold war with Russia and now with War on terror), it has used them as pawns on a chess board where the front liners always give their lives to save the king behind, now with the king on move and being checked on regular basis by its rival (China) we’ll see how long the king survives before being stalemate. Yes the pawn will take the credit for the downfall of the king but the new King would not mind that at all.

    Muslims aren’t all gangsters despite in countries like France and India,where they were economically suppressed; especially if we talk about the job sector. For instance less then 3% of Muslim hold jobs in the Govt. sector. If you look at Indian and French movies where the villains and gangsters are all Muslims then thats not a coincidence. they have been intensionally cornered in a closed lane.

    Having said that, the role of mullahs after 9/11 has been appalling. The have brought shame and disgrace to the name of this religion of peace and dis reputed the Muslim image.

    @ammar…. Well i agree to the fact that muslims have been supressed ecoonomically in some countries.. France is an exception, it is now virtually troubling every community thats living there…But what about Muslim countries where they have everything..for instance in PAK…99% govt jobs are being held by muslims…are they doing any better…

    @lubna…thanks for reading the post..Good to know that someone agreed to me:D

    You have it wrong when you say Muslims were suppressed in India economically. The Muslims in India have always been appeased by the government. The problem with Muslims was that they would send their kids to Madrassas instead of real schools. So with no education to talk about, how do you think they would rise economically?

    Another big exaggeration is when you say all the villains in Indian movies are Muslims. How many Indian movies have you watched and could you list the ones with Muslims as villains? Also, can’t some villains be Muslims? Indian movies are not just Bollywood. There are a whole lot of movies in other regional languages too.

    @ anonymous

    I see no reason for anyone to remain anonymous and comment on my blog. Every one from anywhere is allowed to speak his heart out without getting abusive.

    Now coming back to the comment,

    *You have it wrong when you say Muslims were suppressed in India economically. The Muslims in India have always been appeased by the government.*

    Less then 3% of Muslim hold jobs in the Govt. sector according to a report that was published by bbc last August. As far as preferring Madrasas on regular school bid is concerned, the main reason is economical. those parents who cant even afford to feed their children properly have little or no choice but to send them to Madrasas (that are mostly free).

    Movies:
    ~~~~~~
    1)My name is Anthony Gonzalez
    2)D company
    3)Dus
    4)Sunny Deol movies are just a few names…
    In my comment earlier I was taken out of context when I mentioned countries like India and France and how villains in most of the actions flicks are coincidentally Muslim.
    You raise complex issues Ammar!
    Sociery is like a mesh with a number of nodes. Muslims in India are tightly knit, led by no leaders and used by the so called Secular parties as ‘vote banks’ for years. Their economic stagnation is not a surprise. Once in a while there is an Abdul Kalam or Sania Mirza and the whole country screams in joy. The reality is that the mesh (Muslim society in India) can be lifted up not by lifting one node but by lifting many nodes at the same time. There was a point in history where the Dalits were worse off than the Muslims, but look at them today, its only happened because all nodes in the mesh have decided to do something for themselves. The 3% statistic you quote is not a cause, but a fallout of the lack of initiative. Discrimination as a state policy was and will never be practised in India. Government can only create a water tank, it cannot make you drink water, its too simplistic to blame the government.
    Re villians in Hindi movies, for years there was a fixed trend of NOT showing Muslims in negative roles, I’m afraid I don’t agree with you on this, can you name a few movies?🙂
    @ Ahsan
    Your comments have been recovered. sorry for the delay😦
    @Priyank
    *Once in a while there is an Abdul Kalam or Sania Mirza*
    I agree with Priyank when he says that Muslims should work harder. In fact they should learn from the African American community who have produce leaders like Martin Luther King, Barrack Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
    *Discrimination as a state policy was and will never be practiced in India.*
    Well, there are past examples which hopefully not be repeated in the future🙂
    I dont agree with the idea that “muslims” are dangerous. You can see what americans are doing in Iraq and Afqanistan, and how Gazan are murdered by Fascist Israel. But whole the muslim world is deelpy in a damn silence.
    Where were those muslims who always send mottos without any act?
    When in muslim world, poverty and illiteracy has a HIGH number and most governments are american puppets who kiss Bush’s a**, When most muslim countries even dont know Iran -the only country which is suffering all the problems to stand against US- at least as a “muslim” country bcs the sect is different, what danger can be for americans? (I even see in some sites they say Iran is more dangerous for muslims than Israel. Shame on them)
    When you go to every forum and say something abt shia or sunni and all start to fight, but when you talk about israel none is interested, what do you expect?
    What you see nowadays is not the real Islam. Islam is a dead flesh body, but inside it there is a spirit which is still alive. That’s alive spirit of Islam itself which is dangerous for americans. The motivated Islam which never accepts oppression and dictatorship.
    The culture which was started from the prophet time, and went highest in the day of Ashoura and the rising of Hussain (salam to him).
    What does mean crying on Hussain, but never understanding the concept of his job and make it as an act? What does it mean to write over and over pages about the Ashoura in the day of ashoura, yet the rest of the year put our head in the sand and stay blind to see Hussains of today?
    Once you said to me, why i dont write about esp days. Bcs everyday should be an Ashoura for us as long as there are people in the Ummah who are suffering pains, poverty and ignorance. Everyday should be the day of Ashoura as long as there is an occupied palestine out there front of our blind eyes. As long as there are Gazans out there who are murdered wildly.As long as there is racists, oppressors and dictators, everyday should be esp day for us.
    Do you see that culture nowadays? Muslims are engaged to little stupid things like sect conflict. and america is sucking their blood and their wealth and the oil of the muslim land. How these muslims can be dangerous ?!
    Applause to Shahrzad!
    I completey agree with you, and the actual title of this blog entry may sound naive and the thoughts of some illiterate man? But its true!
    We are fighting amongst ourselves like ideots! I still cant grasp the mullah-hating either, how twisted, why have Muslims always hated the preacher? Or shall I say .. ”why shoot the messenger?”
    We can take or leave what they have to say, and if one or two are dumb and are forceful in trying to conform us, then isnt U.S. doing far worse trying to conform the world to their ways, they hate the Muslim culture which clashes with theirs.
    PS. Indian films suck! Sorry mate but they honestly do.
    @shahrzad….
    well thats a pure case of expecting life out of a dead fish…i agree if Muslims unite they can pose dethrone the king but the ground reality is different… I agree with u that not many muslim countries support iran or for that matter when lebanon was attacked by isreal, everyone just watched the show while Hesbollah stood up to the challenge… My point remains the same, its better to work hard rather to make false and tall claims…
    @supersizeme….
    I dont agree with the mullah hating part…I know for a fact that i have more sound knowledge of religion and everything than the mullah at the corner’s mosque….Messenger is too pious of a word to be assoicaited to someone who sells religion to gain bombers…It requires major transformation…
  14. February 6, 2008 at 10:19 am
    Its nice to read such a comprehensive comment from you Shahrzad. And I totally agree with you when you point out the fact that how Muslim countries aren’t showing slightest of support towards Iran or Hezbollah who are standing alone against the Yazids of today.
    But how can you claim that those who write or display their tribute on Ashoura don’t try applying the practices of Ahl-e-Bait in their lives? We all do that in our max. capacity, do you have any idea how much of a risk it is Pakistan to continue with the procession of Muhrram. Suicide bombers are on the loose here. But that never stopped us from displaying our tribute to Hussain (AS).
    Muslims are divided alright and unfortunately I dont see them coming any closer if they will listen to biased Mullahs. Thats why we bloggers should try to hold each other together as people listen to us and some even think over our posts .
  15. February 7, 2008 at 10:49 am
    Be hopeful.. I am not going to lose my hope for God himself says in the Quran: ” An el aldu yarithuha ibadiyya salihun..” …My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth. (21:105)
    For the sake of Unity, Each one of us has a duty to bring him/herself to good order and knowledge on his or her own.
    Insha’allah world does not remain always like this and muslims will not remain stupid..I am just optimistic, for God loves who trust on him..
