Ronin V-2.0
Hello and Assalam alequm, this is your host and dost (pal) aMmAr. I was anticipating this moment so that I can reveal to you the big surprise I mentioned in my previous post. I give you;
I started blogging in my high school when blogging as a medium was not even there. Very few people owned their public domains, but I and another friend of mine started this high school journal and I named it “Shit Talkies”. Years after Shit Talkies I was introduced to wordpress and found you guys. The most special thing about ronin is you people, the readers of ronin.
Bloggers and readers from India, Iran, UK, USA and my motherland Pakistan come on this forum and express their point of views and we were able to form an unsigned bond which will keep us together for years to come, inshallah 🙂
Another achievement of Ronin was to shorten the gap between Indian and Pakistani bloggers. I want to thank Prerna, Aridhi Jain, Ankur Agarwal, Priyank, Amrita and others that have also through their blogs and words strengthen the message of peace. We Pakistanis are a very peace loving and hard working nation and I can say similar words for the Indians as well. I hope all the problems between the two countries can be resolved once and for all.
Last year was full of tragedies for Pakistan, the number of issues/problems my country is facing today are uncountable. But the youth of Pakistan through their blogs and words told the world that we are anything but terrorists. We are an educated and politically aware Pakistani youth that can differentiate between the right and wrong. God Bless Pakistan!
But unlike other countries Pakistani bloggers are facing an announce ban from PTA (Pakistan telecommunication Authority). Blogspot is banned again and there is a possibility that wordpress might go off net any day. So I had no choice but to go solo on my own domain.
The second reason was totally commercial, blogging has become the next best thing and will grow more. Plus with your own blog you can expand in terms of new, exciting and cool themes, plugins and widgets; that wordpress has to offer. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Asim my budd 😉 for talking sense into me 😛 and providing me with all the help I needed to make this possible. Thanx a lot man! I couldn’t have done this without ya.
I hope you will visit and enjoy ronin 2.0 as much as the first version. I had little or no time to put new posts. But I will try updating my blog more frequently inshallah. I would like to thank all of my regular readers 😉 and would be glad if you spread the word of this new blog.

Tax your brain by Ahsan Zawar
“Amreeeca musalmano ki taqqat say darta hai jabhie unko larwana kii koshish karta hai (America is afraid of the power of Muslims so it make efforts to make them fight among themselves)”.
These are the words you hear from time to time from molvis and the fact is that they have successfully transferred this thought into some sections of society through their countless attempts. The questions definitely then arises Is America really afraid of Muslims? To answer it lets follow the reasoning which has given rise to this statement. According to molvis Muslims have long ruled the world and for reasons best known by them, they are the ones who can dethrone America from World’s only super power. What is that America is really afraid of, Muslim population, let get this correct by this fact that Christianity is the most popular religion of the world with most followers.
Then it could be Muslim Technical abilities or economy, well everyone knows the kind of state in which Muslim countries are in the world, I have to say that they possess the weakest representation on the world forum. Then again why and why America has a fear? Why not China that America should be more worried of, why not the again rising Russia.
Mr. A has a small shop in unknown locality which is the most successful shop in terms of business from 10 other shops in the same locality. Mr. A has constantly updated it to meet the demands of his customers but during the last few months it has faced stiff competition from Mr. C’s shop. Mr. C’s shop has made success by differentiating the products and that has make him a bitter rival of Mr. A. There is one Mr. M who everyone is the locality is feared off, he doesn’t have a shop of his own but if not happy he can disrupt everyone’s business with threats and attacks. Now logically everyone is afraid of M’s intentions but is this fear more too A than to loose its business to C through competition.
You get it right Muslims are only like a gangster at the corner of your street who may snatch your valuables but if once everyone decides to close his chapter, he will run away like anything. By terrorizing you may pose a threat but the threat of rivalry is always the biggest. The threat to loose your status, your earnings and your power can give you sleepless nights and that’s what America is going through these days. China has kicked America out on most of the international markets and this has affected America’s position at the top.
For long every super power in world has ruled with “Divide and rule” policy and that America too followed by igniting wars in Africa and in Muslim world, this has made the demands of weapons being produced by America high which has contributed more to its rule. For long it has used the Muslims as cannon fodder (in cold war with Russia and now with War on terror), it has used them as pawns on a chess board where the front liners always give their lives to save the king behind, now with the king on move and being checked on regular basis by its rival (China) we’ll see how long the king survives before being stalemate. Yes the pawn will take the credit for the downfall of the king but the new King would not mind that at all.

NYPD blues…
For those who are following the US-election 2008 or those who just tuned into CNN this morning like me are aware of Hillary Clinton’s comeback in the state of Now Hampshire. While the rest who have little or no interest in US politics or politics at all can also read on as this post is not totally about politics 
For those who don’t know these elections are party elections, yes the one that hardly happens in countries like Burma , Nepal , Jordan and Saudia. Pardon me if I am missing any country out as my eye sight is kinda weak 
Anyways the candidates that qualify from these party elections will run for President next year.
If I state; that this time elections in USA are quite interesting then it would not be an understatement. Total of 16 candidates (8 Democrats and 8 Republicans) showed their interest this time. Considering the fact, that if someone like Bush can make it to the white house twice then they surely had a shot. I myself had a similar feeling when Matt Damon was announced the new People’s magazine;” Sexiest men on Earth.
But the Democrats from the very beginning are making headlines. As this time there is a chance for the very first Woman or Black Presidential candidate. Yes, you heard me. A Black guy running for President, even Samuel L. Jackson was as surprised as you are when he first heard the news. I am sure many of you heard have heard about a Sen. Barrack Hussein Obama who preferred to be entitled as Sen. Barrack Obama or Daddy O. to make the battle more interesting talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Oscar Winner Denzel Washington are endorsing Obama. According to Oprah this is the very first time I am endorsing any Presidential candidate. When asked why this time? She exclaimed, two words, Nice Ass!! What did you think? Denzel saw this as an opportunity for another impersonation of a real life character that might take him to the Oscars again.

If you look at the Ms. Clintons camp, she has Bill and his legacy [excluding Monica ;)]. Plus she’s a woman! So morally and ethically all the feminists should be supporting her. But do feminists have morals? What not is possible in this modern era of medical science? [Bad joke, I take it back Asma Jehangir aunty ]
So who’s winning? Daddy O! He has shown some tough time to his party mates. His win in the state of Ohio made the pundits declare that it would be checkers for Sen. Obama. But Senator Hillary Clinton used her super feminist’s power. And that was TEARS!! Yea she cried after loosing at Ohio and the next thing you know she won today at New Hampshire . Political pundits are surprised that how can some tears make the voters vote for her. Well political pundits were found to be unmarried and most of those fags didn’t date something similar to a woman in ages.
But it’s a close contest, and Ms. Hillary has to offer more than just tears to win this one. Most importantly; who will be better for us? Hmm… well considering the mess our country is in today. Only Captain Planet can save us, or the Genie from Aladdin’s Lamp.

Benazir Bhutto (1953-2007)
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and President of PPP died in a suicide attack. Bhutto was shot first and then the attacker blew himslef up. Protests and violence has erupted on the streets of Pakistan.
Pakistan once again is the centre of the international interest for another political reason. And this time the reason is; the return of the Mummy. Yes I am talking about the mother of Pakistan Peoples Party and the daughter of the east Ms.Benazir Bhutto. Now you can go on and deny me when I say; there are few popular names run the political game in each country. Whether its India (who call themselves the biggest democratic country in the whole world), USA (who is a self appointed democracy sheriff) or Pakistan (who hardly saw glimpses of what they call a democratic system). Voters and masses in these countries still follow Bhutto, Gandhi (Nehru family) and Kennedy.
Congress party; the oldest political party in subcontinent is run by an Italian woman. Can’t they find a single leader in the population of 100 curores to lead them? I am sure the poor lady never or wanted to be in the situation she is now but what choice did she had. She has to pass the transaction period when either her son or daughter will take over the party. But the point is, that parties start their political struggle in the name of socialism, religion, freedom etc but after some time its realm that lead these so called democratic entities. They don’t even have a democratic process within their own party.
Having said that, I don’t want to take any credit from Ms. Bhutto, she leaded her party for 28 years. Been to jail, was whipped, face the tragic death of his father and untimely deaths of her younger brothers. If you look into her married life, half of that life Asif Zardari was behind bars for allegations that the establishment failed to prove. Even now when I am writing this post home town Karachi an announced national holiday millions of the Jiyaley (the name given to the PPP’s workers) are on the streets chanting her name and covered with red, black and green. The rest of the billions are gathered around the idiot box and watching her coming down from the airplane.
Without any shadow of doubt in Benazir’s popularity her sir name plays an important part. This fact is evident from the billboards hanging on Sharah-e-Faisal where Zulfi Bhutto’s picture is as prominent as his daughter’s.
But something is missing. The question is what!? The international and national media is here, the political workers are here but something is missing. She got Musharraf’s support, US support, ex nemesis MQM is also supporting them by keeping their mouths shut. So what is left? What was their when Imam Khoemeni returned or Zulifiqar Ali Bhutto revolutionized the Pakistani society in the late 60’s; Youth!!
Young men and women of any society not only comprise the majority of the population but also represents where the country is heading. Why the youth of Pakistan prefer staying home then coming on the streets to participate in the process which might help their country to change its course. Lack of leadership is the answer, we the Pakistani youth don’t lack patriotism or humanitarian germs. We all have seen the youth of Pakistan leading the aid process when earth quake hit the northern areas. Their efforts were undoubtedly commendable. Even now in traffic jams when there is no sign of hope or traffic sergeant. Young volunteers jumps in and make the flow possible.
The problem with today’s leadership is that either they don’t represent us or they fail to address our basic issues. Joblessness, corruption in the education department, you can’t get the job you deserve without a source or reference. The education board is one of the most corrupted departments in the country. Higher education is not only unaffordable for the middle and the lower middle class but the quality is also declining with time. There is no sense of security; every young graduate would prefer going abroad for further education and earning some decent living.
But I am still optimistic about our future and the role of our youth. Even now when given a chance, a cause worthy enough to fight for, a movement worthy enough to die for, a leader worthy enough to follow; you will again observe the youth of Pakistan leading and playing their vital role.
I am a big fan of bond movies. The bond movies gave the filmi world and the media many things. Bond movies have astonishing sport cars, aesthetically tailored suits, leading ladies with long legs and short dialogues. These materialistic items had such a deep impact on the viewers that achieving them became the criterion for success. Movie makers of that time came up with scripts containing similar characters and we were made to believe that a cleaned shaven and well build guy in the BMW is the good guy and the one with the scar is the bad guy.
We still watch and accept as true the new generation of make believe characters. If we look at this generation of action movies the villain has to be a Muslim. Especially the French and the Bollywood writers make sure to give the bad guy some Muslim background. Maybe all the bad guys in their countries are actually Muslims. In Pakistan they are all Muslims; politicians, robbers, religious fanatics all of them 😛
But I am not discussing movies today. I am speaking about the real life make believe characters. Now for example look at make believe good guy character. Head of a Muslim state, dictator, highly unpopular, US ally. Now how many guys fall in this category; Gen. Pervaiz Musharaf, Husni Mubarak, Saudi Kings, King Abdullah of Jordan. So these people are not villains but good guys. Obviously not heroes 😛 but friends of the hero. Like in Amitabh Bachans 80’s films; there use to be this nice Muslim guy who was not the hero himself but the friend of the hero and who gets killed in the end for being so freaking nice 😛

It is already very well documented. There are Holocaust survivors and scholars who have documented thousands of research material and its enough.
Hmm.. so what he has to say about that?
According to him and I quote, Can you argue that researching a phenomenon is finished, forever done? Can we close the books for good on a historical event?
There are different perspectives that come to light after every research is done. Why should we stop research at all? Why should we stop the progress of science and knowledge?
You shouldn’t ask me why I’m asking questions. You should ask yourselves why you think that that’s questionable. Why do you want to stop the progress of science and research?
Do you ever take what’s known as absolute in physics? We had principles in mathematics that were granted to be absolute in mathematics for over 800 years. But new science has gotten rid of those absolutisms, come forward other different logics of looking at mathematics and sort of turned the way we look at it as a science altogether after 800 years.
So, we must allow researchers, scholars, they investigate into everything, every phenomenon — God, universe, human beings, history and civilization.
What else makes him so bad?
You know the Islamic laws forces the women in Iran to wear a hijab or scarf of some kind. That is limiting their freedom. Women should have some respect and freedom in Islamic governments.
Like they should be free to work at strip clubs like in Europe and America?

I have heard that they don’t allow the Muslim girls to wear scarves in French schools?

So you have a problem if the women are forced to follow the laws in Iran but laws in France?
